Yes, I am still alive and kicking.

Life is going pretty good.

I realize it has been forever since I blogged and I should do better.  I'm doing pretty good right now on my other blog.

I'll set a goal to try and blog once a week.

Weeds

A month ago Wayne Co. hadn't had much rain.  It was so great when it started to rain.  A month later it is still raining.  I haven't had to water the grass for the past 3 - 4 weeks. 
With all that rain the ground has been soft enough to pull weeds.  And weeds I have pulled.  I spent one evening, with the help of a neighbor, and pull the weeds that were in front of my house.  I then spent a couple of days pulling the weeds along my driveway.
Today my Home Teachers came and hauled all the weeds off for me.  Thank you so much!

These are just the weeds from my driveway.  The ones out front went in another load.

Rain

It's Raining!!!!!!
The sound of cars splashing on the wet roads.  The sound of raindrops hitting the rain gutter.  The sweet smell of rain.  Love it!
So you might be wondering why the excitement over rain. . . . it's been almost 40 days since it has rained.  We need it.
I am so glad I got the grass seed down yesterday.
Let the rain continue!

One of my favorite smells. . . .rain. And I'm smelling it right now. :-) I checked and don't see rain but it's in the air. YEAH!

More Summer

I have also taken a trip to Salt Lake.  Carlye and I spent one day together and visited the Living Planet Aquarium and Kennecott Copper Mine.  We had a great day!
